Suspect Wanted, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 300 East Crosstimbers

September 12, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 300 East Crosstimbers about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 11).  

The suspect, Arturo Reyes (H/m, DOB: 6-17-94), is charged with murder in the 337th State District Court.  A photo of suspect Reyes is attached to this news release.  

The victim, 19, was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Officer J. Horn reported:  

The victim was driving to a local convenience store at the above address with two friends when they were confronted by Reyes after they pulled into the parking lot.  Reyes then shot the victim and fled the scene.  The victim and his friends managed to drive to a residence several blocks away where 9-1-1 was called.  The victim was then taken by HFD paramedics to the hospital where he died.  

Reyes was last seen in a 2013 tan Chevrolet Malibu with Texas license plates BNM4711.
