Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 800 North York

September 17, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 800 North York about 10:10 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 16).

The victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciencess.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Rodriguez and B. Harris reported:
The victim's body was discovered in Buffalo Bayou at the above address.  HPD Dive Team officers were called to the scene to recover the body.

Investigators stated the male is white and had injuries to both eyes and minor abrasions to his face.  He had several unique tattoos including one of the Grim Reaper on his upper left arm, a viking with an axe and shield on his upper right arm and a German eagle crest on his chest.
