Investigation into Incident at 10100 South Gessner Drive

September 30, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man following an incident at 10100 about 6:35 p.m. on September 21.

Erick Damon Lee, 41, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead last Friday (Sept. 27).  His cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Rodriguez, M. Brady and Senior Police Officer K. Carr reported:

On September 21, South Gessner patrol officers responded to a call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found a naked man, later identified as Mr. Lee, running in and out of traffic.  While attempting to detain Lee, one officer deployed his Conducted Energy Device (CED).  Lee was then transported to the hospital for medical treatment.  Lee's wife told investigators he had been smoking PCP just before officers arrived.

The investigation is continuing.
