Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9357 Richmond Avenue

April 24, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of three other persons at 9357 Richmond Avenue about 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday (April 23).

The identity of the deceased victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  One other male, 29, and two females, 24 and 25 years of age, were transported to area hospitals and expected to survive their injuries.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. French and Officer D. Fontenot reported:

The male victim and an unknown suspect got into an argument inside of the night club at the above address.  A short time later, multiple shots were fired and exchanged.  In the process, the male and three other persons were struck.
