February 14, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 1000 F.M. 1959 about 3 a.m. today.

The identity of the male victim, 47, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Nickerson and Officer B. Collins reported:

The victim was operating a blue Honda motorcycle and traveling east on F.M. 1959 when, for reasons unknown, the motorcycle struck a curb and ejected the victim. The male was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
