January 24, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 2908 Rosalie about 11:50 a.m. on Thursday (Jan. 23).  

The female's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. A. Holbrook and Officer V. McLean reported:  

A male witness wandered by an abandoned house at the above address and saw the deceased female lying in the utility room of the house.  The witness than ran out and told a relative, who then called police.  

The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
