Investigation into Man's Death at 4512 Tulsa

July 21, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found unresponsive at 4512 Tulsa about 11:30 p.m. on July 12.

The victim, Jesse Rodriguez, 59, of Houston, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital on Saturday (July 19).

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers L. Bailey and X. Avila reported:

Mr. Rodriguez was found lying on the ground near his vehicle at the above address.  He was unresponsive and was bleeding from wounds to his head and face.  Paramedics transported him to the hospital where he died one week later.

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the incident at this time.  An autopsy is being conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
