March 20, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 300 Yale about 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday (March 19).
The identity of the male victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer D. Jones reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Yale Street, not at a crosswalk, when he was struck by a green Subaru Forester traveling south on Yale. Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No charges have been filed in the accident.
The investigation is continuing.
