Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 3702 Terry

March 24, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found following a fire at 3702 Terry about 3 a.m. on Saturday (March 22).

The identity of the victim, 39, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Officer R. Lujan reported:

The Houston Fire Department responded to a fire at the above address, a boarded up vacant house.  After extinguishing the fire, a man was found deceased inside the home.  The cause of the fire and the man's death have not been determined.  Investigators with the HFD Arson Division and HPD's Homicide Division will await results of an autopsy performed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
