Investigation into Female's Death at 6821 South Gessner

March 24, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 6821 South Gessner about 5:25 p.m. on Saturday (March 22).

The victim, Maria Lucrecia, 27, of Houston, suffered blunt force trauma to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Klementich and J. Saldana reported:

Ms. Lucrecia was working as a cleaning lady at the Eclipse Gentlemen's nightclub at the above address when an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the club and killer her.  It was learned Lucrecia was five months pregnant.  The suspect(s) also stole cash from a register before fleeing the scene.

There is no known witness or suspect at this time.
