May 12, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 8920 Gulf Freeway about 11:10 a.m. on Saturday (May 10).  

The victim, Victor Lucio, 26, suffered multiple wounds to his arms, hands and legs and was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. L. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious event call at a motel at the above address.  Officers arrived and found Mr. Lucio deceased inside a motel room.  He was partially covered by a large mattress and furniture.  Narcotics paraphernalia was also found inside the room.  

The investigation is pending Lucio's cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
