Update: Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 1111 Louisiana Street

October 28, 2014 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man found deceased at 1111 Louisiana Street about 10:50 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 26).

The victim, Cory Roussell, 27, suffered apparent blunt force trauma to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler, Senior Police Officer J. Villareal and Officers S. Overstreet and A. Vinogradov reported:

About 4:50 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 26), Mr. Roussell was seen running down Louisiana Street. Later that night, about 10:50 p.m., a security officer found Roussell deceased in a parking garage at the above address. At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
