Suspect Arrested in Fatal Traffic Accident at 10500 South Post Oak Road

September 5, 2014 - Charges are pending against a suspect arrested in a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident at 10500 South Post Oak Road about 9:15 p.m. on Thursday (September 4).

The suspect, Rodrick C. Brady (b/m, 20), is facing a pending charge of failure to stop and render aid.  A photo of Brady is not available at this time.

The identity of the deceased female victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Nickerson and Officer C. Jarboe reported:

The female victim was standing in the median at the above address when a gray Toyota Corolla drove up on the median and struck her. The driver (suspect) fled the scene.

About one hour later, the suspect (Brady) was taken into custody without incident after admitting to his role in the accident.

The investigation is continuing.
