September 5, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5443 Garden Village Drive about 12:50 a.m. today (September 5).

The identity of the male victim is pending notificiation to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick, Senior Police Ofiicer T. Andrade and Officer M. Arroyo reported:

The victim was in front of the residence at the above residence when he was shot.  He then ran inside the residence where he collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene.  At this time, there is no known suspect(s) nor motive in this case.
