Investigation into Male's Death at 110 Armstrong


August 5, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the death of a male found at 110 Armstrong about 2 p.m. on Tuesday (August 4).

The male, 50, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer S. Coke reported:

The victim was discovered lying in the driveway of the above address and transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub Hospital.  His only visible injury was possible road rash to his left forearm.  Investigators are awaiting autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine his cause of death.

At this time, it is believed, he may have been involved in some type of auto pedestrian crash, however, there are no witnesses to such an incident.
