Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 670 Maxey Road
August 18, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 670 Maxey Road about 8:55 p.m. on Monday (August 17).
The victim, Dwight Swearington, 26, of the above address, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer K. Lovelace and Officer T. S. Miller reported:
Mr. Swearington parked his vehicle in the parking lot of his apartment complex at the above address and was shot several times after getting out of his vehicle.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
