Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9400 Cullen


July 9, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9400 Cullen Boulevard about 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday (July 9).  

The victim, Durell Taylor, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arrington and C. Sharp reported:  

Mr. Taylor was at the fuel pumps of a gas station at the above address when an unknown male suspect armed a rifle ran up to him.  When Taylor ran into the street to get away from the suspect, he was struck by a vehicle.  The suspect then stood over Taylor and fired several shots at him.  

The suspect is described only as a thin black male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 pounds with a mustache.  He fled in a 2006 gold, four-door Chevrolet Impala.
