A short time later, Vasquez was found hiding nearby and taken into custody.
The three pedestrians, one female and two males, were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital. The female suffered life-threatening injuries, one male suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries and the other male suffered non life-threatening injuries.
