Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9700 Kempwood
November 16, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9700 Kempwood about 1:15 p.m. today (Nov. 16).The male victim, 54, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer N. Luu reported:
The victim was traveling westbound on Kempwood when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the silver Kia Spectra and struck a tree in the median. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
