Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4719 West 34th Street

November 17, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 4719 West 34th Street about 7 p.m. on Monday (November 16).  

The victim's identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Saldana and Officer R. Klementich reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  A preliminary investigation determined a female and a male were seen walking in a parking lot at the above location when, at some point, the male shot the female.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the female to Ben Taub General Hospital where she later died.  

According to witnesses, the suspect, described only as a black male, got into a blue Ford Taurus and left the scene.  The suspect later returned on foot and drove away in a red Toyota Tercel.
