Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8700 Westpark Drive
November 17, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8700 Westpark Drive about 10:40 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 15).The victim, Ivan Rayo, 29, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Senior Police Officer R. Nunez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting call at the above address. Witnesses stated they heard several gunshots and observed a male get pushed out of a pickup truck. Further investigation determined Mr. Rayo was driving his beige or gold-colored Ford F-150 4-door pickup truck when he was shot by an unknown suspect who then drove away in the truck. The Ford has Texas license plates GLS-6115.
