Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 224 Bryan

November 30, 2015 - The fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another that occurred at 224 Bryan about 5:35 p.m. last Friday (Nov. 27) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury. 

One male was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  A second male was transported to the same hospital and reported in critical condition.

HPD Homicde Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 224 Bryan and found one male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  While on scene, officers were notified of a second shooting victim who had run from the Bryan location and collapsed one block away.  He was located and transported to the hospital.

Further investigation revealed the shooting was the result of an argument between individuals sitting in the apartment complex parking lot at the above address and drinking alcohol.  Multiple witnesses gave differing accounts of the incident.  The case will be referred to the grand jury for any possible charges.
