Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6200 Westpark Drive
October 5, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6200 Westpark Drive that occurred about 8 a.m. today.
The male victim, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer L. Ho reported:
The victim was driving a blue BMW Z4 eastbound on Westpark Drive when he failed to control his speed and struck the rear of a private school bus that was also traveling eastbound. The BMW became lodged underneath the bus, killing the driver. There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash and the bus driver was found not be impaired. There are no charges in this incident.
