Investigation into Human Remains Found at 7100 Jetty Lane
October 19, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on human remains located at 7100 Jetty Lane about 2 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 17).
The remains are believed to be a female, whose identity and cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.A. Holbrook reported:
A group of people walking in a forested area at the above address smelled a foul odor and located human remains covered in dirt. Police were called and investigators recovered skeletal remains appearing to be those of a female.
