Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7600 Railhead Lane
October 19, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 7600 Railhead Lane about 11:40 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 17).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer R. Romo reported:
The victim was driving a green Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed westbound on Railhead when his vehicle was struck by a gray Nissan pickup truck traveling northbound on Golden Spike. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan fled the scene and is wanted at this time.
