Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 8500 Howard


April 21, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 8500 Howard about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday (April 20).  

The man's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and S. Glaze reported:  

Three individuals riding horses found an unknown Hispanic male in Sims Bayou north of Chavez High School near the above address.  The man, believed to be in his early 40s, was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.  The witnesses then went to Houston Fire Department Station #29 and reported their discovery.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.  

The investigation is pending the man's cause of death.
