Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7900 Tidwell
February 3, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 7900 Tidwell that occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 2).
The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Salazar and Officer N. Godin reported:
An unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound in the 7900 block of Tidwell when the driver struck the victim and fled the scene without stopping. The victim was found by a witness and was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, there are no known witnesses to the crash.
