On January 15, a male (Mr. Roberts) matching the description of the person found at the above address was reported missing to police. Following unsuccessful attempts to locate him, his mother advised on January 18 that she had reason to believe he might be deceased in a wooded area near their apartment complex. A search ensued, however he was not found. On January 19, Texas EquuSearch continued the search and located Roberts' body at the above address.
Further investigation led to the identity of Edward Oneal, an acquaintance of Roberts, as the suspect in this case. Oneal was arrested without incident on Wednesday (Feb. 10) and admitted his role in Roberts' death.
