Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5720 Rampart
February 25, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5720 Rampart about 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 24).
The victim, Noe Mendez, 22, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:
Mr. Mendez was in the apartment complex parking lot at the above address when he was approached by four males walking along the sidewalk. The suspects then fired multiple times and fled on foot. The suspects are described only as four Hispanic males in their mid to late teens and wearing hoodies.
