Suspect Charged, Wanted in Man's Death at 2226 Ewing

January 19, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the death of a man at 2226 Ewing about noon on Monday (Jan. 18).

The suspect, Curtis Holliman (b/m, 32), is charged with murder in the 178th State District Court.  

The victim, Dexter Taylor, 46, of the above address, suffered burns to his body and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  A second male second victim remains hospitalized with non-life threatening burns to his body.

HPD Homicide Division Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:

During an argument with the two victims, Holliman, threw gasoline on them and then lit it on fire.
