Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7812 Tierwester
July 18, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7812 Tierwester #426 about 12:10 a.m. on Sunday (July 17).
The victim, Derek Pierre Lawton, 44, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer E. Aguilera and Officers E. Contreras, S. Jimenez and T. Jackson reported:
An unknown suspect or suspects forcibly entered Mr. Lawton's apartment and demanded property. Lawton was subsequently shot and the suspects fled the scene.
