Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8115 Easthaven Boulevard


July 27, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and the wounding of another at 8115 Easthaven Boulevard about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday (July 26).  

One male was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The second victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Ridel and K. Ferguson reported:  

The two victims were sitting in their vehicle waiting for rain to subside before continuing to mow lawns.  A male and female suspect approached the vehicle, where the male then pulled out a gun and demanded their property.  When the lawn workers refused, the suspect shot them both.   

The suspects are described only as a black male and a black female, both between 20 to 30 years of age.  The female suspect was wearing an orange dress.
