Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 15165 Vickery Drive
July 7, 2016 - The fatal shooting of a male at 15165 VIckery Drive about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (July 6) has been referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The male was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The male shooter, 22, was not injured in the incident.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Officer T. Fay reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male with several gunshot wounds. He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
The shooter remained at the scene and told officers the male stated he had a weapon and then physically assaulted him (shooter). The shooter said he feared for his life and then shot the male.
