Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 8775 Othello
July 12, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 8775 Othello about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (July 10).
The suspect, Kenneth Davis (b/m, 42), is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court. A photo of Davis is attached to this news release.
The victim, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Fregia and R. Ridel reported:
The victim was found in his home deceased from stab wounds. A preliminary investigation determined he was stabbed by his stepson (Davis) who then fled the scene in a gray Mazda CX-9. Davis later returned to the scene, was detained by HPD patrol officers, and subsequently charged in this case.
