Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10900 Beaumont Highway
June 2, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 10900 Beaumont Highway about 4:40 a.m. today.
The identity of the male victim, a pedestrian, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roque and Officer M. Ramos reported:
The victim attempted to cross Beaumont Highway, not at a designated crosswalk or intersection, and was struck by a red Chevrolet pickup truck. The victim died at the scene. The driver of the pickup, who was determined not to be impaired, was questioned and released at the scene.
