Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5743 Gatewood
June 10, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 5743 Gatewood about 5:05 p.m. on Thursday (June 9).
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Crowder and T. Colbert reported:
Three unknown suspects entered an open garage door at the above address as part of an attempted robbery. During the incident, the victim was shot. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle of unknown make or model.
The suspects are described only as three black males. A fourth suspect is believed to have driven the vehicle.
