Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8281 Kingsbrook
March 07, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 8281 Kingsbrook Road about 11:45 p.m. on March 3.
The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Tolls and Officer M. Coleman reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found an apartment's front door had been kicked in. The victim was found lying on the floor inside the master bedroom of the apartment and the apartment had been ransacked. The victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Evidence of narcotics was found at the scene, however, the motive for the shooting is unknown.
