Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 5600 Willow Glen


March 22, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 5600 Willow Glen about 2:20 p.m. on Monday (March 21).

The suspect, Larry Broden (b/m, 19), is charged with murder in the 262nd State District Court.  A photo of Broden is attached to this news release.

The victim, Donell Robinson, 25, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Winningham and C. Liu reported:

The suspect, Broden, was with several individuals at a gas station when they began arguing with the victim, Mr. Robinson, who was with several family members.  Broden and several others followed Robinson to his home in the 5600 block of Willow Glen.  The argument escalated into a fight, during which Broden fatally shot Robinson.  Broden then fled the scene and remains at large at this time.
