Fatal Shooting Investigation at 8126 Jutland


May 23, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men and the wounding of another that occurred at 8126 Jutland at about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday (May 21).

One male, Dion Brothers, 28, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The second male, Keno Miller, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A third wounded male, David Harris, 30, suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound.
HPD Homicide Division Officer T. Colbert and K. Fregia reported:

Brothers, Miller, Harris and several other males were gathered at Brothers' apartment at the above address.  Miller and a female got into an argument and Miller became agitated and pulled a gun on the female, threatening to shoot her.  Miller was then removed from the house by Brothers and Harris.  Miller continued to argue from outside the house and Brothers confronted him.  Harris got between Brothers and Miller, attempting to resolve the situation, at which point he was shot by Miller.  Miller and Brothers then began shooting at each other multiple times, striking each other.  Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, Brothers was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead and Harris was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
