Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 15219 Buckle Lane
November 8, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 15219 Buckle Lane about 12:30 p.m. on Monday (November 7).
The victim, Ignacio Ortega, 62, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Klementich and T. Colbert reported:
According to witnesses, Mr. Ortega was working in an alleyway behind his residence at the above address when a male suspect wearing a black hoodie was seen walking toward the alleyway. Several gunshots were heard and the suspect was seen fleeing from the alleyway.
The suspect is described only as a black male dressed in all black.
