Investigation into Fatal Crash at 100 Clinton Drive


November 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 100 Clinton Drive about 4:45 a.m. today (November 22).  
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer E. Rubio reported:  

The driver of a tractor-trailer truck was leaving the driveway of a business and turned west onto Clinton Drive.  The driver of the truck failed to yield the right-of-way as he left a stop sign and was struck by a white Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling east on Clinton Drive.  The driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene.  The driver of the 18-wheeler showed no signs of impairment and remained at the scene.  

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
