Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 14607 East Hillcroft Avenue
October 24, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 14607 East Hillcroft Avenue about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday (October 22).
The victim, Michael Truong, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Officer S. Sylvester reported:
Mr. Truong was walking to his vehicle parked in front of a convenience store at the above address when he was assaulted and shot by two male suspects. The suspects then fled in Truong's vehicle, described as a silver van. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the 5400 block of West Fuqua.
