Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2800 Bellevue
October 24, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2800 Bellevue about 11:25 p.m. last Friday (October 21).
The victim, Julio Chapa, 23, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Officer W. Gilbert reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a meet-the-firefighter call at the above address and found Mr. Chapa inside of a Jeep Cherokee in a ditch. Chapa was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
