Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2600 Holmes


September 6, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 2600 Holmes at about 4:45 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 3).

The identity of the female victim, a pedestrian, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer L. Ho reported:

The victim was found lying on the south side of the roadway.  She had been struck by an unknown vehicle, whose driver (suspect) fled the scene.  There are no known witnesses to the crash at this time.
