UPDATE: Composite Sketch Released in Fatal Shooting at 3447 Unity Drive


September 7, 2016 - Houston police homicide investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man found at 3447 Unity Drive about 12 a.m. on May 5, 2016.  

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in his 30s and approximately 5 feet eight 8 inches tall.  A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The victim, Tomas Gonzalez-Canil, 35, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Officer B. Chebret reported:  

Mr. Gonzalez-Canil returned home from picking up dinner when he was shot by an unknown suspect(s) in the driveway of his residence.  Gonzalez-Canil's wife told police she heard at least three gunshots and then found her husband lying in the driveway.
