Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6556 Peerless


September 19, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 6556 Peerless about 5:20 a.m. on Sunday (September 18).  

The victim, Joshua Holiday, 26, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Senior Police Officer L. Lovelace reported:  

Mr. Holiday and a witness were standing in the parking lot of the O.S.T. Lounge at the above address when a dark-colored, four-door vehicle drove by.  Several shots were fired from inside the vehicle and Holiday was struck.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
