Surveillance Photo of Suspect Wanted for Multiple Southeast Houston Robberies


September 30, 2016 - Houston police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect believed responsible for committing 10 robberies of businesses in Southeast Houston between July 27 and September 4, 2016.

The suspect is described only as a black male, approximately 20 to 28 years of age, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 180 pounds.  He is described as having a dark complexion and is believed to be driving a black Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300. A surveillance photo of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The suspect is believed to have committed multiple robberies in which he walks into the store and poses as a customer.  He walks up to the register and purchases an item and then points a gun at the cashier when the register is opened.  The suspect then threatens the cashier, demands money from the register and then flees from the store.

He is believed to have committed the following robberies:
  • Walgreens at 3822 OST at about 11:40 p.m. on July 27
  • Home Depot at 6810 Gulf Freeway at about 5:05 p.m. on July 31
  • Family Dollar at 4122 Telephone at about 1:50 p.m. on August 5
  • Family Dollar at 804 Telephone at about 5:15 p.m. on August 10
  • Walgreens at 9200 Cullen at about 2:20 p.m. on August 13
  • Dollar General at 9530 Cullen at about 3:55 p.m. on August 15
  • Family Dollar at 5076 Griggs at about 10:20 a.m. on August 21
  • Lowes at 1000 Gulfgate Center at about 8:50 p.m. on August 21
  • Home Depot at 6810 Gulf Freeway at about 9:35 p.m. on August 27
  • CVS Pharmacy at 8234 Broadway at about 9:35 p.m. on September 4
