Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12800 Dunlap


April 17, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 12800 Dunlap at about 11:55 p.m. on Saturday (April 15).

The identity of the male victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Huff and Senior Police Officer J. Villarreal reported:

HPD officers responded to an emergency call in Missouri City at 12043 McLain Boulevard about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday (April 16) after Missouri City police officers notified HPD that a victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and sitting in a black Dodge Charger at the above address.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Witnesses stated the shooting incident took place at 12800 Dunlap about an hour earlier.  At this time, there are no known suspects.
