Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8300 Canyon

February 6, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 8300 Canyon about 11:30 a.m. last Friday (Feb. 3).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D. Fontenot and R. Olive reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at a parking lot at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the victim deceased inside a vehicle.  There is no known suspect(s) nor motive at this time.
