HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers J. Roberts, A. Ferrell and A. Hernandez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above address and found Mr. Peterson and Sinclair were no longer at the scene.  Further investigation determined Peterson and Sinclair, who were in a dating relationship, had gotten into an argument which turned into a physical fight.  At some point, Sinclair stabbed Peterson, who then drove to another location where he called 9-1-1.  HFD paramedics responded to that location and transported Peterson to Ben Taub General Hospital to be treated.  Sinclair was later located at his residence in the 4400 block of New Orleans and was taken into custody without incident.
